The Sacred Heart Church landscape design was developed with Columba Cook Architects based in Christchurch, Dorset.

Creating Place understood that churches not only provide a place of worship, but also a place to celebrate and contemplate. They provide a focal point for communities to attend events such as weddings, baptisms, confirmations, and funerals, and also places to fundraise,  teach, offer childcare, family support and host community events.

The project involved the demolition of an existing building, protection of TPO’d trees, provision of parking including accessible bays, extensive tree, shrub and ornamental planting, highway improvements, and the landscape design of spaces to serve different functions and needs.
