Outline proposals were prepared for a residential landscape design to transform an estate with dilapidated buildings to become a stately home.

The proposals included a tree lined avenue leading to a 15,000 sq ft residence complete with staff accommodation and stables. The grounds included a ha-ha, formal gardens, walled kitchen garden, lake, tennis court, swimming pool, paddocks, woodland, parkland and a separate entrance for staff.

The existing woodland was to be opened up to create glades for deer and wildlife, and rides for shooting. Existing habitats were to be managed to conserve and enhance biodiversity.
