Creating Place was appointed to assist Barclay + Phillips architects to develop the landscape proposals associated with their proposals for a  Grade II listed barn conversion to residential use. The proposals were then adapted and implemented by Derek Warwick Developments.

The listed barn conversion, completed in 2017 accommodates six dwellings with a shared driveway, communal gardens with ornamental water feature, shared use of a tennis court as well as generously proportioned individual private garden spaces.

A previously culverted water course has been opened up for visual amenity, wildlife benefit and storm water attenuation which meanders gently through the site incorporating an orchard, informal planting and wildflower meadows. (Photos courtesy of Barclay + Phillips and Savills)
