youth centres

An adventure play and multi use games area was developed with the local youths and facilities manager to produce a dynamic social and play environment for the neighbourhood. The facility attracts teenagers of all years and sexes to the centre and purposely discourages football.

Completed in 2007, the local community has embraced the facility, and its success has been attributed to the close working relationship forged between the centre, youths and consultants throughout the design process.
