Outline proposals for a forty-bedroom beach resort with golf course and facilities were proposed on the coastline of Qatar. The proposals required an understanding and careful consideration of the Muslim culture to ensure privacy was respected amongst families, visitors and staff.

The hotel was divided into two areas: one for families, the other for male guests. Each room required a high level of privacy and required an aspect towards Mecca.

The central space was designed to provide privacy from overlooking and shade from the searing heat.
