Proposals were prepared for the redevelopment of a redundant naval port within Limassol to encourage tourism, leisure and regeneration of the surrounding area.

An old harbour, existing buildings and jetty were to be refurbished to form the basis for redevelopment, and supplemented with hotels, apartments, retail and commercial facilities together with visitor attractions.

A new marina with promenade was proposed to provide a pedestrian dominated environment. A series of enclosed narrow streets and squares were planned to provide linkages to the existing town and pockets of activity whilst offering areas of shade during the heat of the day.

Visitor attractions included a Ferris wheel, tethered balloon rides, water park, and boats trips.
