Proposals were developed in association with the local community and landowners to provide a contemporary park at low cost and provide areas for recreational activity other than football, whilst making ‘joy-riding’ difficult.

A series of long oval mounds or ‘drumlins’ were incorporated within the space to provide areas for children to play and roam, whist existing mature trees were retained around the edge and were protected throughout the course of construction.
