Winner of a Landscape Institute design under 1ha category award 2007

Proposals were developed for an outdoor teaching area to the front of Old Basing Infant School. The geometric design provides scope for a variety of teaching spaces nestling within wildflower meadows.

Each space contains a number of discovery habitats to encourage children to rummage, explore and study their natural environment. The garden also provides an attractive low maintenance area for teachers and children to enjoy during break time.
