An existing courtyard was redesigned within a tight budget to provide an amenity space for a refurbished office development in Portsmouth. The space had become overgrown and was over looked by adjacent development. 

The design retained the existing hard landscape to minimise expenditure and introduced good quality furniture and planting. A line of trees interlaced at high level to act as a screen were incorporated to improve privacy without enveloping the space.
